India Trip 2014

Hey, hey Y'all, I'm Back, finally!!! To My Loyal Readers/Followers, So sorry for such a long wait!!! I have been pretty busy since my India Trip (which was fabulous) and the Holidays right around the corner so I have been trying to get back on track with my Daily routines and I am just now getting to some sort of normalcy (if that's even possible, hehehe).

So as many of you know Myself and Bella (daughter) went to India not to long ago, so I wanted to give you a quick recap of our Wonderful Trip. This years trip was much different than before, first of all I went without O.....ahhhhh!! No actually it turned out wonderful, Bella is a wonderful travel companion. I had many of the passengers around us comment on how good she was and many of then said they didn't even hear a peep out of her!!! Needless to say she was wonderful, she was very excited on the way there to see her cousins and her Aaji & Abo (grandparents).

Secondly, I had to do all the communication/interaction with the family. Usually, O is with me and can help with the communication between everyone (luckily everyone speaks English, or I would be in trouble). In the end I really think this helped me enjoy my stay there more than before, because I personally developed my relationships with everyone (without O's "influence").

Thirdly, this is the first time I have went and honestly felt comfortable and truly enjoyed my stay 100%! Now I am not saying my previous visits were not enjoyable but there was always some kind of worry (Trip 1, first trip ever outside US), (Trip 2, I was preggo) & (Trip 3, I had a baby) so this trip was different in a very good way!!

While there we got to Celebrate Diwali (one of my favorite Indian Holidays) which was tons of fun!!Bella loved all the Lights and Fireworks (not the fire crackers though) and she especially loved all the gift giving that goes on during this Holiday (she was in Heaven). Bella got showered with lots of gifts and a Ton of Love during Diwali!!

One of the greatest things to happen during this visit was the relationships that were built especially with Bella and her cousins. The very first day we arrived Bella and her cousin (Adwika) hit it off, it was like "love at first sight", they instantly became Best Buddies and were inseparable. We would go away for a few days to a different place and when we would return Bella and Adwika would run to one another and hug/kiss each other and say "I missed you"!! When leaving it was very tough to see them cry and say they would miss one another.

During our stay Bella developed some new Loves!! She absolutely loves Bindi, she would wear numerous Bindis at once (at one point she had on 4)!!! Bella also developed a love of Tea (seriously she would drink tea 3-4 times a day) so needless to say I see a ton of tea in my near future....(which is fine with me, hehehe).

Needless to say we had a Truly Wonderful time during Our visit. We truly felt the love by everyone we came across and our Family & Friends were so welcoming and accommodating to us. Bella at a point did not want to come home (the only reason she did come willingly, was she was missing her Daddy). From the Food (Yum, more blogging to come on Food) to the People this Trip was one of my favorite so far and I cannot wait to return again.

P.S.....I didn't snap as many pictures as I would have liked, I was living in the moment and enjoying myself this visit. Sometimes the greatest memories, are the ones in your head and not on paper!! =) =) Until Next time, My Friends!!!

XOXO DeAnna
