Four Year Wedding Anniversary....Wowza!!!!

Hello, hello, & once again, Hello Everyone!!! Yes, I am still here, just a bit busy with living life to its fullest, but I have vowed to start blogging again....So people/followers keep me to my promise!!!

Today, 6/26 is Our 4th Wedding Anniversary (say What...lol)!!! It seems so crazy to think, that, 4 years have already flown by with my Handsome, Wonderful, Awesome, Sweet & Many, many more attributes (that you probably don't care about).

I recently, spent a few weeks (6 wks, to be exact) back home visiting, my Family, without O, and let me tell ya, the saying "absence makes the heart grow founder", is absolutely true (at least in our case)!! I honestly, missed my husband and could not wait, to see his smiling face again.

A little history, on O and I's relationship. When I met O for the first time, I honestly had absolutely no clue about the Indian Culture or Indians, to be quite honest!!! I grew up in a pretty small town and was raised in a Christian home and some might say, was very sheltered!! So when, I met him, I was intrigued by him and wanted to get to know him better!

Our first date was at a Bowling Alley and lets just say, I sucked then, and I still suck at Bowling....lol!!! After our first date we started talking and seeing each other quite often. I can still remember the first time he cooked for me (Masoor Dal and Rice) I had to smile and pretty much say yes, I loved it (which I did not...lol) First Indian Food Ever, I don't suggest Lentil and Rice....just saying! (FYI, I now love Dal and Rice...)

Our friendship grew into love and while becoming friends, I learned about the Indian Culture and fell in love with it. Before I knew it, I was meeting his parents/family and a whirlwind Indian trip (will blog soon of my first trip) and shortly, after returning home, a Proposal and Marriage.

Falling in love with someone or something you have no clue about, can be quite scary, but with an Open Mind and Heart, it can and will happen. Marrying O, has been one of the best decisions I have Ever made!!!! Life may not always be Perfect but with this guy by my side we can get pretty darn near close, to Perfect!!

Until Next Post
XOXO DeAnna
