Pulling Weeds

Who knew that pulling weeds could be so much fun,  (definitely not this girl)!!! Today my chore was to pull the weeds that were the size of Jacks Beanstalk and pretty much taken over our entire back yard, or so it seemed! So, I set off to quickly get the much dreaded project done not knowing that actually I was going to enjoy myself!

 

First of all if you want to quickly do anything, never take your almost 2 year old because things tend to usually take a bit longer than planned! As I was hard at work pulling the weeds little Ms. Bella decided she was going to try to help Momma! First of all she was pulling up the grass and the mulch, so I was telling her this is how we do it, and she started getting the hang of it and became quite the helper, but after a while things kinda went south and quite fun!

 

 

She decided it would be much more fun to empty out the 3 very large trash bags full of weeds all over the ground and then start running away while I chased her all over the yard, and all the while giggling and having the time of her life! I am pretty sure she gets that mischievous behavior from her father since I am a perfect angel!

 

 

So, needless to say after a few hours, weeds are pulled, and I have also learned a very important lesson! You can have fun at anything you do (even pulling weeds) and life is so very short so enjoy those precious few moments that you will never get back!
