New Friends

 

I never imagined at the age of 27 I would be making new friends or even how hard it is to make new friends in a new place. As many of you know we moved to Sunny Florida, last year and I absolutely am in love with our new house! I have been blessed mightily in the past few years! But with the move come quite a few adjustments, such as making new friends!

 

I am a really quiet person so I have had to find it in myself to change this about me and try some new things, and I must say I feel that I am making a great improvement! I never really had to try before to make friends, they were just there from childhood and through my career. So I find it very challenging and out of my comfort zone.

 

I am very thankful to have come across a wonderful website called Meetup.com. It is a site were people set up groups of things such as Moms groups, Toddler Groups, Fitness, Language and a wide variety of other interests. I joined last year not really knowing that I was going to find a Wonderful Group of Ladies that have become some of my closest friends!

 

So getting to my point, if you put yourself out there and try new things you would very surprised to find out the real person inside of you! I have found out that I can be outgoing and quite the talker (he...he) maybe a bit too much! I am loving this new attitude and look on life that I have taken! I am a stronger person because I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried new things.
